What we collect

When you sign up for Emergo, we collect your first name, phone number, timezone, and optionally your email address. During onboarding, we collect your answers to seven questions about your situation to personalize your experience.

We store the text messages you send and receive through Emergo to provide continuity in your conversations and to improve the service.

How we use your information

Your information is used solely to deliver the Emergo service: sending you daily reflection prompts, generating personalized AI responses, and enabling on-demand tools. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Third-party services

Emergo uses Twilio to send and receive SMS messages, Anthropic (Claude) to generate AI responses, and Render.com for hosting. Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Data retention

Your data is retained for the duration of your participation in the program. If you opt out by replying STOP, your account is deactivated. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

Opting out

You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any Emergo text message. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent.
